Job description

Overview of job

This project aims to analyze and redesign the client's current in-house software development processes and environment in order to improve development quality and shorten delivery cycles. The work focuses on conducting a comprehensive assessment of the existing development workflow, methodologies, and tool usage, identifying challenges, and defining the requirements for future improvements. Based on the analysis, a structured design document will be delivered, outlining the proposed process enhancements, methodology refinements, and an integrated toolchain architecture (PMT). This design will serve as the foundation for subsequent implementation phases planned through 2026, enabling the client to establish a modern, efficient, and scalable software development environment.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a DevOps team
  • Collaborate with SWF Architect on architecture, infrastructure, and tool integration
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automation
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain DevOps and ALM tools
  • Manage AWS infrastructure for scalability, security, and cost efficiency
  • Provide coaching, training, and support on tools and workflows
  • Maintain documentation and guidelines for processes and tools
  • Develop dashboards and centralized landing pages for visibility into projects
  • Recommend and implement new tools, technologies, and process improvements
  • Support multiple platforms, including embedded automotive systems
  • Contribute to Agile practices and cross-team workflow improvements

Job Requirement

  • Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and ALM tools (Codebeamer, Polarion)
  • Strong CI/CD pipeline development experience across multiple platforms in Zuul, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise using Plummi or Terraform
  • Experience in scripting/automation (Python, Bash) and configuration management (Ansible)
  • Proven experience designing and deploying DevOps platforms or Software Factories
  • Leadership and team mentorship abilities
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Minimum 5 years in DevOps or similar roles

Nice to have:

  • Communication skills in Japanese
  • Experience in embedded automotive software development (Android Automotive, AUTOSAR, Embedded Linux, QNX)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Experience in dashboard/landing page development and workflow documentation
