About the Project

We’re growing a lending self-service portal into a complete financial product platform (loans, savings, investments). This means:

• Building reusable component libraries that let the team ship features faster while maintaining consistency across web and mobile
• Adopting new technologies quickly like micro frontends and Capacitor to enable mobile capabilities without rewriting everything
• Creating responsive, accessible interfaces for financial products in a regulated environment where usability and compliance both matter.

You’ll work with modern Angular, micro frontend architecture, and Capacitor, deployed via GitHub Actions and OpenShift. We value adaptability if you can learn and apply new frontend technologies quickly, you’ll thrive here.

What you will accomplish

Your first year includes:

• Working with the team to add mobile app capability to the financial self-service portal by using Capacitor to transform Angular web applications into native iOS and Android apps
• Extending the portal to support savings products alongside existing loan offerings by building new UI components and features that give customers control over their financial products.

Technical Foundations You’ll Use

• Frontend: Angular, Micro Frontend Architecture, Module Federation
• Mobile: Capacitor (converting web applications to native iOS and Android apps)
• State Management: NgRx, Akita, or similar (experience preferred)
• Infrastructure: CI/CD via GitHub, Jenkins, GitOps, OpenShift
• Quality: Jest, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks.

You must be exceptionally strong in the following areas:

• Building reusable, scalable component libraries - You’ve created component systems that other developers actually want to use, not just one-off implementations. You think about APIs, composability, and developer experience
• Learning and applying new frontend technologies - You’re comfortable with micro frontends and mobile frameworks like Capacitor. When the tech landscape shifts, you adapt quickly rather than sticking to what you know.

What we are looking for
You likely have:

• 3+ years of experience building production Angular applications
• Experience with micro frontend architecture and module federation
• Strong component design skills, with experience building libraries that other developers depend on.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration
• Ability to learn new frontend technologies quickly, including Capacitor and new frameworks
• Strong testing habits using frontend testing frameworks.
