About the Project

We’re extending a lending self-service portal to support savings products and native mobile apps. This means testing:

• Building reusable component libraries that let the team ship features faster while maintaining consistency across web and mobile
• Building integrations with external systems (KYC/AML providers, payment processors, core banking) that are resilient, secure, and maintainable
• Architecturing for scale and security in a regulated financial environment where downtime and data breaches aren’t options.

You’ll need to think comprehensively—a bug in the API affects both web and mobile; a change in the savings workflow impacts multiple integration points. In a regulated financial environment, quality isn’t optional.

What you will accomplish

Within a year, you’ll have ensured that mobile apps and savings features shipped to production with zero critical bugs. You’ll be the quality guardian who made it possible for customers to trust our financial self-service portal across web, iOS, and Android.

Technical Foundations You’ll Use

• Frontend Testing: Angular applications, Capacitor mobile apps (iOS/Android)
• API Testing: RESTful APIs, tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, SoapUI
• Database: MongoDB testing and validation
• Methodologies: Functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• CI/CD: Understanding of GitHub, Jenkins, GitOps pipelines.

What you must excel at

You must be exceptionally strong at:

Manual testing across the full stack - You can manually test Angular web apps, mobile apps on iOS/Android devices, and RESTful APIs with precision. You understand how changes ripple through the system and design test scenarios that catch cross-platform and integration issues before they reach production.

What we are looking for
You likely have:

• 5+ years of software testing experience with focus on manual testing
• Experience testing web applications, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and APIs
• Strong exploratory testing skills and ability to think like an end user API testing skills with tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, or SoapUI
• Understanding of how to test integrated systems (not just isolated components)
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues across web, mobile, and backend
• Experience establishing testing standards and processes
• Ability to design comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Familiarity with automation testing tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
• Experience with contract testing (Pact.js) for microservices.
