Overview of job

• Responsible for programming, debugging, and reporting to the line manager. 
• Participate in large-scale projects within the Banking, Finance, and Insurance domains. 
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java Spring Boot. 
• Work with microservices architecture, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance. 
• Work with SQL for data modelling, queries, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to projects by proposing technical solutions aligned with business requirements. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication. 
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.

• Bachelor/ college’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Knowledge/experience in Finance, Banking & Enterprise.
• 4+ years’ experience of Java and backend framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate). 
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, ReactJS is a plus. 
• Experience in API web services: RESTful and SOAP.
• Experience with message queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, IBM MQ).
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
• Proficient in SQL (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for data modelling, querying, and performance optimization. 
• Good knowledge of web/application containers (Apache Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere ...) and web/application deployment.
• Nice to have familiarity with Jenkins and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
