We are looking for an AWS Solution Architect to join an enterprise digital platform project in the banking domain.

This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on AWS experience who is ready to take greater ownership of solution design and technical delivery. You will collaborate with clients, engineering teams, and cloud specialists to understand requirements, recommend appropriate AWS services, and design scalable, secure, and reliable solutions while supporting their successful implementation.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, existing infrastructure, and technical challenges.
• Assess client needs and recommend suitable AWS services and solution approaches.
• Design cloud infrastructure and solution architecture on AWS.
• Define architecture and integration approaches for systems using APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns, batch processing, and real-time processing.
• Review technical designs to ensure scalability, security, reliability, and operational readiness.
• Support cloud implementation, migration, and modernization projects from solution design through delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to translate solution designs into practical implementation plans.
• Support technical discovery, effort estimation, risk assessment, and dependency identification.
• Prepare architecture diagrams, technical documents, and implementation recommendations.
• Communicate technical options and trade-offs clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work location: Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi or Gia Dinh, HCM

• Work on a large-scale enterprise platform with complex architecture and integration challenges.
• Be involved in both solution design and technical delivery.
• Collaborate closely with experienced engineering, DevOps, data, and ML teams.
• Take ownership of meaningful architecture decisions with a direct impact on project delivery.

• 3-5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, AWS cloud implementation, cloud migration, infrastructure architecture, or solution architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience working with AWS and designing solutions for production environments.
• Good understanding of AWS services across compute, networking, storage, databases, security, IAM, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Ability to recommend suitable AWS services based on client requirements, system constraints, and business objectives.
• Experience with API integration, microservices, or event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud migration, modernization, or enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Ability to create architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Good problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• English communication skills sufficient for technical discussions and documentation.

Nice to Have

• AWS certification is highly preferred.
• Candidates with multiple AWS certifications or prior participation in AWS training programs are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working directly with clients or supporting consulting, presales, or solution implementation activities.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or large-scale enterprise projects.
