The Senior Tech Leader will be responsible for:
- Design, build and update the IAC (Infrastructure As Code) standard of customer platform deployment in cooperation with others World Wild Ops Tech Leader and the T&TC direction.
- Customize the standard to the need of your customers and market.
- Help the local engineer’s team to appropriate the standard, participate in amelioration and feedback and to apprehend the wide technologies spectrum used around it.
- Improve the everyday operation efficiency and quality by introducing automation
- Develop the DeVops mindset and improve the overall technical level of the engineering team.
You will be working collaboratively with developers; System engineers and Customer based anywhere in the world to architect and build platform. More than a technical challenge, it’s a human journey.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Terraform, Chef, Docker, Cloud provider Aws, Azure, Alicloud, virtualization infrastructure VMware, Openstack
- Familiar with Git, CI/CD, unit testing
- Speaking to REST-API is something you do every week
- Knowledge of modern application infrastructure and legacy (container, micro-service, …)
- You know what production is, what’s to manage incident and you want to avoid it at all cost
- One of the following System flavors:
o Windows flavored guy, since the release of PowerShell, you should have forgotten how to use your mouse and be Windows Core addict.
o Linux flavored guy, your speaking Python and you’re Jedi master of the shell
- You are defined by the following autonomous, curious and technologic enthusiast. You can take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
