Job description

Overview of job

Join in a product/system design phase with a Japan team to analyze system requirements.
Design, develop and test high-traffic Web applications in Ruby on Rails.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Suggest, propose creative solutions to solve problems and improve website performance.
Supervise and support other developers in fulfilling tasks as well as improving their skills.
Join the DevOps team to set up, maintain the cloud servers and microservices infrastructure.
Contributes to maintaining an open, friendly and innovative working environment for every member.

Interview process: only 1 round online interview
A MacBook Pro/Laptop is provided to meet your work requirements.
Salary: Up to 3,000$
100% salary on 2 months of probation
13th month salary.
15-18 days of paid leave for employees over 1 year working.

Job Requirement

1.EDUCATION

Graduated from College/University in Information Technology/Computer.
At least 3 years of experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
At least 2 years of experience as a Leader position or equivalent.

2.TECHNICAL EXPERIENCES

*MUST HAVE

Developing a clean and maintainable code with the best-practices and modern tools/plugins.
High-level Object-oriented programming skills.
Good experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL.
Familiar with front-end technologies, such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery.
Experience setting up servers (Nginx, Apache, etc.) and automating deployment processes (Capistrano, Ansible, Chef, etc.).
Experience with cloud services of GCP or AWS.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, support other members and can do code reviews.

*NICE TO HAVE

Experience with Redis, Search Engines (Apache Solr, Elastic Search).
Experience writing tests with RSpec and doing Continuous Integration.
Knowledge and experience with VueJS/ReactJS are a plus.

*LANGUAGE SKILLS
Can basically communicate (writing, speaking) in English.
Japanese is a huge plus.
