We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our web applications and web APIs. You will leverage your coding experience and cloud technologies knowledge to design and optimize robust systems that deliver exceptional performance and reliability. The ideal candidate should possess a good understanding of DevOps principles, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools, with specific expertise in CI/CD for web applications using Kubernetes (K8s).

Responsibilities:

• Web Application and Web API Operations: Oversee the operation and maintenance of our web applications and web APIs, ensuring they are always available, secure and performant.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure to achieve scalability, cost-efficiency, and fault tolerance.
• System Design and Architecture: Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and improve the system architecture, ensuring it meets performance and scalability requirements.
• Deployment Automation with Kubernetes: Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Kubernetes, reducing deployment time and minimizing errors.
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting systems, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Security and Compliance: Assist in implementing security best practices to safeguard our applications and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) with Kubernetes: Contribute to the adoption of CI/CD practices within the organization, focusing on Kubernetes-based deployment strategies and automated testing.
• Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Support troubleshooting efforts during incidents, applying root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrences.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Work with IaC tools to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently and consistently.
• Collaboration and Mentoring: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative DevOps culture. Support and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
