Main responsibilities
Project Planning/Management
- Work together with stakeholder of the project and corresponding personnel, and/or vendor to define the scope of the project.
- Work with stakeholders and vendor to define the reasonable project plan with proper resource assignment. Manage the progress of the project to achieve the target schedule, quality, and budget.
- Define/review/revise the test plan of the system. Verify the correctness of test result. Test plans included unit test, integration test, stress test, user acceptance test.
- Understand the requirement on system integration.
- Communicate properly with third party systems for integration.
- Define the integration plan as well as the cost/resource required for integration.
- Monitor the readiness of third party system for integration.
Resource Management
- Assign resource to project. For human resource, assign resource by loading, skillset, and availability and monitor resource utilization and achievement. For monetary resource, ensure it is
within the agreed budget, For machinery resource, ensure their availability.
Quality & Risk Management
- Ensure the delivery of the project is up to the quality standard from stakeholder/users.
- Ensure the delivery of the project having the international quality standard.
- Determine the project risks. Find the resolution for the potential risks.
- Communicate effectively with project committee, stakeholders/key users for any potential risks of the project.
- Execute the resolution if required.
Users & Vendor Management
- Discuss/communicate with key users/stakeholders to ensure the user-requirements fully implemented in the project.
- Prepare regular clear and correct executive summary for stakeholders and key users to understand the status of project.
- Ensure the stakeholders/key users fully aware of the progress of the project.
- Fully responsible for vendor engagement from vendor selection, bidding process to vendor negotiation.
- Ensure vendor fully aware the requirements of the project with deliverables satisfying the needs of users.
- Close monitor the implementation of vendor following the project schedule.
- Negotiate the best cost with vendor for the implementation.
- Ensure vendor following the SDLC with proper testing of your delivery.
Change Control
- Regular communicate with users to determine any change on user requirement.
- Proper reflect the changes to vendor. Determine whether the changes impact to the project delivery as well as project cost.
- Communicate proper to the project committee for any changes on project schedule and cost due to the change on requirement. Obtain consent from project committee for applying the changes.
- University or college degree in IT, Computer Mathematics or related subjects.
- Minimum 7 years Business Analysis experience included 2 years in project management experience.
- Fully understanding of SDLC, and ITIL. PMP certification.
- Experience identifying, analyzing and managing project risks on large, complex projects.
- Experience directly managing IT projects with budgets exceeding 1 million USD.
- Experience on forecasting, resource capacity and planning and schedule and budget performance reporting.
- Experience leading/ managing PMO services and functions supporting IT Projects.
- Experience defining project management standards and auditing projects for compliance.
- Extensive business analysis experience on deriving the project requirements.
- Experience using and mentoring on the use of MS Project and MS Project.
- Good presentation, written and verbal communication skill.
- Knowledge on unix, database included DB2, Oracle, and/or Informix.
