For one of our clients, TOG recruitment is looking for an Backend Developer to work in Ho Chi Minh City. As such, you always will be working with the latest proven technologies in a state of the art office with an open environment. Our client is an IT Staffing company specializing in software and application development. They provide technology services that digitally transform their partners and generate business value. They are a Microsoft Gold Partner and are ISO 27001:2013 certified. They offer a comprehensive range of services, including staffing and technology consulting, software engineering, and ongoing support. They fully embrace the Agile software engineering principles and use SCRUM to manage projects. Their client is developing a complete solution for trusted collaboration in the cloud. It seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Office 365, Teams and SharePoint.
The position is based on a Hybrid working model and requires 1 day per week (Friday) onsite.
A Backend Developer is responsible for building and maintaining the serverside components of applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. This role focuses on developing robust APIs, managing databases, and collaborating within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Application Development
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
• Ensure code quality through peer collaboration and adherence to best practices.
• Implement business logic and data access layers efficiently.
Database Management
• Design and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Write performant SQL queries and manage stored procedures.
• Ensure data integrity, backups, and basic performance tuning.
System Integration
• Integrate with external services and APIs, including Microsoft Graph API and CSOM.
• Support basic Azure services integration as needed.
Team Collaboration
• Work in Scrum/Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with team members to write clean, maintainable code.
• Use Azure DevOps for work item tracking, version control, and deployment coordination.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a software developer.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
• Fluent in PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, C#, and .NET.
• Basic knowledge of Azure, JavaScript, Microsoft Graph API, and CSOM.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools and workflows.
• Intermediate level of English in speech and writing.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within crossfunctional teams.
