Overview of job
We are building a suite of mobile applications on Android platform to run on industrial grade, environmental resistant, non-explosive & intrinsically safe for used by plant operators in refineries, gas processing and power generation plants.
These apps belong to a new generation of industrial mobile software which we will introduce to both local Vietnam and international market.
We are looking for a few smart and highly motivated software engineers to join our R&D team to make this happen. Candidates with ability to learn and adapt quickly, having excellent programming skills, driven to explore and develop new things under minimum supervision, having desire to build great products that are feature rich yet simple, intuitive, and maintainable are best suit for the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mobile application in Android platform, and other add-on modules integrating with IBM Maximo software product
- Conduct testing to ensure the products are delivered with relatively few bugs/issues and within deadlines
- Write product manuals
- Perform demonstration of software products to internal management team and external client

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
Soft skills:
- Self-motivated, fast learner.
- Strong communication skill
- Strong logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
Hard skills:
- At least 2 years of experience building native Android applications.
- Experience with any of these RESTful, JSON, SOAP, JMS APIs web services.
- Experience in handling the performance and memory of mobile apps.
- Familiar with VCS systems such as Git, GitHub, TortoiseSVN.
- Experience with application that requires local database storage usage, location-based, map, animation, social network integration is a PLUS.
- Knowledge about networking protocol (HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, NAT, STUN...),
Server-Client communication via REST APIs is a PLUS.
Language:
- Ability to communicate in English
Education:
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Management Information System or equivalent.
