Job description
Overview of job
- Install Operating system, deploy middleware and application components using automated deployment scripts and tools
- Monitor Operating system, Hadoop cluster, middleware, and Application using deployed monitoring tools
- Administer Operating system, Middleware, Hadoop cluster and application components using predefined run books
- Upgrade operating system, Middleware and Application components as needed following change management processes as defined by the partner
- Perform incident management, problem management, change management and SLA management functions
- Provide Level 2 support based on pre-defined run books
- Escalate to Level 3 support as needed and provide remote hands and eyes support for level3
- Work with Hardware OEM’s to ensure hardware repairs and part replacements are carried out within agreed upon SLA’s
- Work with network operations teams and Data center operations teams to ensure any change impacting Trusting social platform is coordinated
- Closely monitor OS, application, Hadoop and middleware performance

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
Must have:
- Experience: at least 5 – 8 years
- Industries: Telco, IT, Fintech, Finance
- Linux/UNIX certified administrator
- Installing Unix/Linux operating with configuration including network bonding, Raid configuration, disk partitioning, and Unix/Linux network and security configuration
- Experience writing simple scripts for Automation and config. Management
- Experience installing and upgrading operating systems
- Experience performing complex debugging at the operating system level and basic debugging at middleware and application level
- Experience with problem management, change management, SLA management, and incident management (Must have) Hands on, technical mindset, with attention to detail
- High organization and technical skills
- Certified Hadoop administrator with experience performing basic administration functions on the Hadoop cluster
- Experience provisioning, administering and supporting Middleware and application
