Overview of job
• Take charge of floor planning, power structure, place and route, clock tree synthesis, timing closure, power/signal integrity signoff, physical verification (DRC/LVS/antenna).
• Collaborate with Front End (FE) team to understand chip architecture and drive physical aspects early in design cycle.
• Work closely with the customer's physical design team.
Job Requirement
• 5+ years experiences in physical design – place and route.
• Good at SoC, ASIC design process in Japanese company.
• Familiar with back-end physical design flow, mainly floor planning, congestion analysis, placement optimization, clock-tree synthesis and timing closure.
• Proficient in programming/scripting with good coding experience in Tcl/Python.
• Familiar with tools such as Synopsys IC Complier/Cadence Innovus and PrimeTime.
• Good knowledge of static timing analysis (PrimeTime), EM/IR-drop/crosstalk analysis (Tempus, PT-SI, Redhawk), formal or physical verification (Calibre), RC extraction (StarRC, QRC, Quatus)
