Overview of job

GuardRails is looking for a full-time Frontend Engineer to develop features and improvements for our frontend applications in a secure, well-tested and performant way. GuardRails supports a growing number of users from all over the world and you will play an important role in shipping the best products for our customers.

About You

You have been a top-notch frontend engineer for most of your career and love creating beautiful and practical user interfaces. 

You will continuously contribute to our customer-facing products, most notably our dashboard, and ensure that they are fast, reliable and scalable. You will be developing ambitious screens and functionality in line with our product roadmap. You welcome the opportunity to compose our frontend into reusable well-designed components that are easy to extend. You are opinionated about how great React frontend apps are engineered and happy to have constructive conversations to continuously improve the architecture. You will work together with product managers, designers, and backend engineers towards aligned goals.

You are a highly motivated, experienced, and organized contributor who takes pride in the work you do. You are happy to work in a startup environment and wear all the hats that you need to in order to get things done.

• You have significant experience in Javascript, CSS, HTML and React.
• You are good at writing maintainable, well tested, performant and secure code.
• You are self-motivated, organized, creative, respectful, with a high level of integrity and ethics.
• You have worked in remote organizations.
• You have a strong command of the English language.
