Overview of job

As the BI Analyst & Data Operation Developer, the role will include the following responsibilities, but are not limited to:

Design, build, automate and maintain project status tracking, dashboards, and reports

• Extract and prepare data from various internal data sources (e.g. Azure DevOps) in order to prepare analysis sets.
• Understand and transform PMO reporting requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.
• Develop models and dashboards to help understand, forecast, and visualize project progress and identify the risks & gaps
• Create dashboards and visual interactive reports using BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Identify and analyze KPIs data with clear objectives and provide the monitoring reports consistently.
• Analyze data and present it through dashboards and reports that can help in decision-making.
• Provide assistance on ad-hoc projects as required

Support PMO team tools/data integration in planning and project monitoring

• Work with PMO team to integrate and sync up the dataset between the information preserved in the project management tools (MS Project) and Azure DevOps. Resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes to data systems.
• Provide daily/weekly data integration/data sync and participate in meetings by providing a fundamental outlook to the PMO team and other stakeholders
• Prepare and present reporting data validation and integration on a daily/weekly basis.
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of various tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, PowerBI, MS Project, Smartsheet etc.) to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports resource management and planning process. Works on one or multiple projects to support the project teams

• At least 2 years of experience in a BI analysis and data operation role
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI Dashboard Creation, DAX, SQL Query, and Excel
• Extensive knowledge of Azure DevOps and its integration with other tools
• Understanding of project management process and business workflow
• Knowledge of MS Project and Smartsheet
• Analytical thinking, accuracy, and detail-orientation
• Problem analysis and solving
• Extraordinary communications skills
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese
• Experience in Accounting Software, Audit or Financial industries a plus
