Overview of job

• We are looking for a Japanese Project Manager to manage and coordinate IT projects between our Japan and Vietnam teams.
• Manage project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Work closely with Japanese clients/stakeholders and Vietnamese development teams.
• Coordinate communication between Japan and Vietnam, ensuring clear requirements and smooth project execution.
• Manage project progress, risks, issues, resources, and deliverables.
• Define project roadmaps, KPIs, and action plans when necessary.
• Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and technical/business challenges.
• Facilitate communication among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work in a young, dynamic environment with Japanese and Vietnamese developers.

MUST HAVE:

• Japanese: Native speaker
• Currently living in HCMC
• At least 2 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Project Leader, or similar role
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects, preferably as a Scrum Master or PM.
• Experience in requirement definition and project planning.
• Ability to create project roadmaps, set KPIs, and track project progress.
• Experience in project risk/issue management and problem-solving.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with clients/stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively with both Japanese clients and Vietnamese development teams.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in Web Development.
• Experience with project resource planning.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.
