Job description

Overview of job

We are looking for a Japanese Project Manager to manage and coordinate IT projects between our Japan and Vietnam teams.
Manage project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Work closely with Japanese clients/stakeholders and Vietnamese development teams.
Coordinate communication between Japan and Vietnam, ensuring clear requirements and smooth project execution.
Manage project progress, risks, issues, resources, and deliverables.
Define project roadmaps, KPIs, and action plans when necessary.
Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and technical/business challenges.
Facilitate communication among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work in a young, dynamic environment with Japanese and Vietnamese developers.

Job Requirement

MUST HAVE:

Japanese: Native speaker
Currently living in HCMC
At least 2 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Project Leader, or similar role
Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects, preferably as a Scrum Master or PM.
Experience in requirement definition and project planning.
Ability to create project roadmaps, set KPIs, and track project progress.
Experience in project risk/issue management and problem-solving.
Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with clients/stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively with both Japanese clients and Vietnamese development teams.

NICE TO HAVE:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in Web Development.
Experience with project resource planning.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
Good spoken and written English.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.
