Overview of job

Job description

Understand the project requirements and work with stakeholders, project manager and team members in test planning, specification, implementation, setup and execution of test cases.
Perform manual and send test reports to development team, team leader and project manager.
Follow up for issue verification and bug resolution.
Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage DevOps (CI/CD) and automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of products.

Job Requirement

Your skills and experience

MUST HAVE (Manual Testing)

At least 2 years of experience in software testing
Proficiency in manual testing techniques for Mobile, Web and API, including functional, usability, regression, and exploratory testing.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Ability to investigate and diagnose issues effectively, utilizing logging tools and Postman for debugging when needed.
Ability to design test cases and ensure the comprehensive test coverage.
Ability to write and execute SQL queries to interact with a MySQL database, retrieve data, and validate data integrity.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
Proactively contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance API performance and overall system efficiency.
Experience in testing third-party modules and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Proficiency in using Version Control Management (Git/Github/GitLab) for collaborating with the Development team.
Familiarity with testing microservices architecture and associated challenges.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team, especially in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
