Overview of job

In this role, you will solve challenging problems and work directly with all levels of the global organization to enable employees to use Optimizely's IT technology. You will also be working directly with senior members of the IT organization to troubleshoot issues and complete projects. The responsibilities of this role are a blend of project-based work and responding to user needs. This role will focus on teamwork and individual effort to achieve the goals defined by the IT organization.

• Works globally, with a team of system administrators in a 24x7 environment to respond to tickets and projects
• Based on business initiatives, identifies hardware and software needs 
• Configures and maintains hardware platforms, virtual and cloud environments 
• Monitors and responds to network security events Implements standards across global locations 
• Configures and maintains device and platform images 
• Ensures that backup is configured appropriately and running 
• Works within the guidelines of security and compliance requirements, including ISO, GDPR, PCI, eDiscovery, HIPPA, SOC II Stays current with the industry to evaluate and propose new technologies as required Implements new technologies to meet project goals Mentor junior team members
