This is a banking project where HCL is in partnership with ANZ – Big 4 Australian Bank. As a Quality Engineering Chapter Lead your mission is to help design and deliver a modern banking platform and supporting suite of services that provide simple and secure ways for our customers to engage with the 
bank. You’ll employ your leadership, coaching and engineering skills to help shape how teams deliver and 
test changes effectively with minimal hand-offs and maximum early feedback. You’ll view testing as part of 
the process and not a phase to be managed and be prepared to advocate and influence this point of view. 
What will your day look like: 

• Lead a team of Quality Engineers to design and implement scalable Test Automation practices in a diverse technology landscape 
• Create a culture in which teams and individuals take responsibility, help each other to be successful and remain a step ahead 
• Take the lead in self-development by staying abreast of industry trends and sharing your knowledge with your colleagues 
• Coach and mentor other engineers and chapter members 
• Encourage quality engineers to become multi skilled to limit the number of ro les and handovers 
• Make pragmatic design decisions, championing continuous improvement and leading in the adoption of agile practice, methodologies and attitudes 
• Work with delivery leads to forecast demand and ensure we have the right people in the right places
