Job description

Overview of job

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
Assist in making technical decisions and ensure that the team follows best practices and coding standards
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
Guide in debugging and solving complex technical problems encountered by the team
Collaborate with other stakeholders to define the overall system architecture
Break down technical tasks and distribute them among team members
Identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve development processes
Enforce coding standards and best practices
Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies
Document architectural decisions, code structure, and any other relevant technical information
Lead by example and inspire the team to excel.

Job Requirement

At least 7 years’ experience working in software development, experience in leading an Engineer team working on complex applications for enterprise products
Strong experience with PHP (Symfony experience is a bonus), we expect you to coach others
Experience with AWS (Docker, Databases, Storage, Streams, etc.)
Experience with building services and Restful APIs
Security best practices champion
A track record in delivering outcomes, not just as an individual, but rallying your team evangelizing high technical standards in the teams
Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical information for a diverse audience
Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment
Strong leadership & coaching skills (both in technical & human relations).
