Overview of job

1. Job Purpose: Design, build, and manage Data Warehouse solutions. Ability to use ETL tools, and integrate/optimize data to enhance the performance of processes and data flows.
2. Key Responsibilities:
   • Leverage knowledge of life insurance, finance, and current system functions to operate and develop the Data Warehouse system.
   • Design, build, and manage Data Warehouse solutions to support business analytics and reporting needs.
   • Database Management: Utilize expertise in databases such as Oracle and SAP HANA to optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing.
   • ETL Tools Usage: Implement and manage ETL pipelines using tools like IBM DataStage, Oracle ODI, and Oracle OBIEE.
   • Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse data sources into centralized platforms.
   • Data Pipeline Optimization: Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of processes and data flows.
   • Data Governance: Establish and adhere to data quality standards, ensuring compliance with best practices in the industry and organization. Monitor and audit data for accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
   • Problem Resolution: Effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues in data processes and flows.
   • Strong understanding of database management, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
   • Proficiency in scripting languages and query optimization, package, procedure, and function development on Oracle is a plus.
   • Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms like AWS is a plus.
