Overview of job

• Design and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business and technical objectives to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test frameworks for functional, automation, and performance testing.
• Prioritize testing efforts using risk-based testing methodologies.
• Implement and oversee test automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. 
• Select, configure, and maintain automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or AI-driven testing platforms.
• Leverage AI/ ML for predictive defect analysis and intelligent test case generation.
• Ensure thorough functional, integration, and regression testing of software products. 
• Create and maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases and track defects using bug-tracking tools. Work collaboratively with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects issues.
• Oversee performance and load testing to ensure software scalability and stability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/ CD pipelines, ensure continuous testing and early bug detection. Simultaneously, collaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment.
• Implement root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Track and report key quality metrics such as defect density, test coverage or test execution time.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
• Function well in a fast-paced environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for quality is set high.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in AI-driven testing, automation frameworks, and testing methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
