Overview of job

• Strong hands-on engineering capability across modern digital platforms, including Web (React JS) and Mobile (Mobile development, preferably React Native), with deep understanding of APIs, BFF, and microservices architecture
• Proven ability to lead and actively contribute to complex incident management, including triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of Sev1/Sev2 incidents in high-availability environments
• Strong DevOps mindset with working knowledge of CI/CD, release automation, and deployment practices
• Ability to drive continuous improvement through automation, reducing manual effort and recurring incidents
• Demonstrated leadership capability to guide, mentor, and uplift engineers and production support analysts in a blended team model
• Advanced problem-solving capability with strong focus on distinguishing root cause vs symptoms and implementing sustainable fixes
• Strong expertise in production support practices, including monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational readiness
• Ability to define and uplift observability frameworks (alerts, dashboards, thresholds) to improve early detection and system visibility
• Solid understanding of end-to-end system architecture, including dependencies, integrations, and failure points across distributed systems
• Experience driving BAU delivery, including backlog prioritisation, defect resolution, small enhancements, and regulatory uplift
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, particularly during incidents, delivery execution, and risk escalation
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g. code assistants, automation tools) to:

- Improve development productivity

- Accelerate debugging and root cause analysis

- Support documentation and test generation

• Ability to contribute effectively within cross-functional squads (Product, Design, Engineering)
• Focus on engineering quality, reuse, and “configuration over customisation” principles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with business and technical stakeholders
