As a MS SQL Server DBA, your responsibilities include the followings:
► Perform the installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of databases in MS SQL Server environments.
► Monitor services, plan capacity and fine tuning of database performance.
► Manage data backup & restoration, database security and audit requirements.
► Provide technical support and trouble shooting for database-related issues.
► Assist the developers in designing database schema, reviewing database design, reviewing SQL script and improving database performance.
► Establish and maintain communication with technical stakeholders (developers, managers, infrastructure department, service desk department, etc…) to keep them updated with status of their requests.
