YOUR MISSION As a JAVA Software Architect you will
› Be responsible for designs of software architecture in diverse and innovative JAVA projects and ensure synergies among them
› Ensure quality of design and code in all JAVA projects though systematic design reviews andcode inspections
› Coach development team in application of various technologies, frameworks, methods and tools
› Coordinate with architecture teams in Switzerland, provide advices in use of IT to optimize business processes
› Identify, coach and buildup technical experts / architects

YOUR PROFILE We expect from you:
› Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
› Have at least 9 years of experience in software development with 6 years in analysis, design and development of JAVA applications
› Additionally you stand out as a strong team player, are flexible and have a broad technical expertise
› Proficient communication skills in English
› Analytical and structured work method
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Your practical experience is in several of the following areas:
› In-depth development experience with Open source technologies:
Spring, Hibernate, JSF, GWT, Prime Faces, WebSphere, Weblogic
Jboss, Tomcat, JavaEE APIs and specification, EJB, JPA
› Development tools: Eclipse, WSAD, Ant and Maven
› In-depth development experience with Testing framework like JUnit
› Non-functional aspects, i.e. Security, Performance and Scalability
› Modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect
› Knowledge of relational databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
› Know-how in HTML, XML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS

As part of our culture senior people are involved in training and coaching young talents. This is a key success factor to develop our cloud-based SECUTIX solution.
ELCA Vietnam started with six people. Today we are a production facility with more than a hundred employees. During the same period ELCA Switzerland tripled its workforce to over 450 engineers. We contributed fully to this success and the group has gained in flexibility and reduced its risks.
