- Work with development team to shape the architecture, design, and implementations of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability
- Ensure all key services are measured, monitored availability, latency, overall system health and raising alerts when needed.
- Automation of deployment and configuration processes.
- Develop reliability tools and frameworks for use by all engineers.
- On call support for critical systems and lead incident response and no-blame postmortem analysis and review.
- Drive efficiencies in systems and processes: capacity planning, configuration management, performance tuning, monitoring and root cause analysis.
- Do capacity planning, cost effective management and help teams anticipate and prepare for growth.
Yêu cầu công việc
Your Skills and Experience
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. Equivalent practical experience is a reasonable substitute.
- Experience with one of programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go and/or lua script.
- Hand-on experience with Kubernetes or DC/OS, Prometheus/zabbix, TICKs stack, gitlab/Jenkins pipeline, message queues(rabbitmq, SQS, kafka), microservices and service discovery.
- Experience with AWS/GCP/Aliyun or Azure services.
- Experience in the Linux/Unix environment.
- A good understanding of large-scale distributed systems in practice, including multi-tier architectures, application security, monitoring and storage systems.
- Good knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, internet routing and load balancing.
- Good knowledge of web protocols, caching systems to web servers.
- Experience in working with multiple CDNs is a plus
