- Develop all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
- Manage back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
- Integrate the front-end elements into the application.
- Perform assigned tasks independently.
- Ensure the assigned tasks to be performed on-time and with high quality.
- Investigate and analyze the requirements
- Write design/technical documents.
- Review design/technical solutions/code.
- Support creating system architecture.
- Weekly and/or on-demand report to supervisor.
- Strictly follow the project and organization processes, policies and regulations

Your Skills and Experience
Basic requirements:
- Minimum holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Willing to learn new technologies is required as you may work with different technologies over the time
Technical & Skills competencies
- 2+ years of proficiency in Scala
- 2+ years developing REST-based applications using frameworks like Play or Spring
- Experienced with RDBMS and NoSQL data stores like MongoDb, Hbase, Cassandra
- Knowledge of Javascript and CSS
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies in particular
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
