VNG builds highly fault-tolerant wide area distributed content delivery and application acceleration systems to improve performance, security, reliability and availability of high value web sites. We build and enhance proxies, load balancers, authentication systems, single sign on systems, two factor systems, big data analytics systems and scalable backend systems, that are used by millions of end users on a daily basis.
With the passion of becoming Amazon-Vietnam, VNG is seeking an experienced senior software engineer, a talented member to build and extend IaaS products and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Join our proficient engineer teams to design and develop market leading products and services for IaaS portfolio.
- Take complete ownership of the product from design to implementation and to deployment.
- Work with Product Management in defining the functionalities and features.
- Conduct design and code reviews to conform to company policies and coding standards.
- Work with QA and Operations team to test and deploy code into production.
- Build reliable, scalable and maintainable web applications, added features for high quality products & services, especially in content delivery network, video streaming.
- Apply cutting-edge technologies to product advanced features for services' competency.
- Manage product backlogs and team members.

Your Skills and Experience
- 3+ years experience in large-scale web applications, using Java in frameworks of Spring, Hibernate, Message Queues, REST/SOAP, Jquery, Bootstrap.
- 3+ years experience in designing and delivering software systems, including multi-thread, multi-processing, Message Queue.
- 1+ year experience in developing database application (RDBMS, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Having knowledge of network and web security (SQL injection, cross-site scripting, HTTP Bot).
- Having knowledge of server environments (Linux-based, HAProxy, Nginx , Apache).
- Basic skill of problems solving and team management.
- Experience in programming of video streaming is a big plus.
- Experience in application architecture relates to Microservice, logs & data processing (Kafka/ LogStash/ Elastic Search/ Kibana) is a big plus.
- 1+ year of experience working in at least one area: Packet processing systems, firewalls, VPNs, NAT, Identity Systems, HTTP(S) Proxies and/or Load balancers is a big plus.
