What you’ll do:
- Build #1 technology team in Vietnam through a combination of training, recruitment, career development and creating a team culture that is safe, encourages feedback and continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor engineers on your team to build their expertise and grow their capabilities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define and build the next generation platforms that contribute to IFS strategic projects as well as solve ongoing operational problems.
- Lead with expertise regarding scalable solutions to have a strategic impact on the IFS digital strategy
- Lead your team by being a strong voice for them and aligning closely with cross-functional partners, driving towards the same business and company goals
- Solve complex technological cross-cutting concerns affecting your teams and platforms.
- Awareness of external industry trends and strategy and align team and team goals to those goals
- Evangelise your team capabilities, accomplishments and platforms across CBA and community
What you’ll bring:
- Solid software development skills in two or more technologies (e.g.: Java, C# , JS, iOS or Android)
- Understanding of front-end and backend including database, API and basic network / web server.
- Critical thinking skills, with experience solving problems in a professional setting
- Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to a technical and business audiences
- Willingness and ability to travel about 10% of the time

Your Skills and Experience
Your qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree / experience
- Previous experience as a full-stack engineer or solutions architect
- Previous experience leading and people management of 10 or more
- Demonstrated experience with Scrum and other Agile methodologies
Highly regarded capability or knowledge:
- Able to explain complex Agile and software development practices to executive non-technical stakeholders.
- Advocating the balance of software quality with delivery velocity and objectives.
- Proficient in a Unix/Linux environment
- Ability to coach new teams practicing agile and be the voice of reason when their adapt anti-agile practices.
- Microservices architecture and/or development experience
- Continuous delivery experience
- Cloud experience
