Job Description

  • Provide complete IT infrastructure support for end users on a client server application 
  • Monitor application server, network and interface between different components 
  • Collaborate and Troubleshoot Operating system, Database and Network issues 
  • Alert relevant support teams for problem resolution and corrective actions. Monitor system performance and ensure availability 
  • Install appropriate patches or hotfix for operating system 
  • Collaborate with support teams for Database support, Application Server Backup and Restoration 
  • ITIL based Incident Management, Asset and Configuration management in Ticketing tool (SMT) 
  • Provide 16/5 support including planned Maintenance Support and On Call readiness support ( Morning and Afternoon )

Your Skills and Experience

Qualifications

  • Experience in IT application support – 24/7 Operation 
  • Experienced in Windows 2008 / 2012 Server Administration 
  • Basic knowledge on DB Concepts, Networking Concepts 
  • Knowledge in Incident/ change & Problem Management 
  • Knowledge on service management ticketing tools such as BMC Remedy, JIRA etc. 
  • Knowledge of using Monitoring tools (Nagios/Zabix, Centreon, Net-IQ, SPLUNK) will be added advantage 
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English 
  • Flexible to work under pressure and ability to be precise in communication are must 
  • Able to support as per working hour ( Mon – Fri ): Morning ( 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ) and afternoon ( 1:00 – 10:00 PM )

BGSV has started its operations from 19th October, 2010 at E-Town2 in HCMC. This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally.
