I. Main Responsibilities
- Database administrators (DBAs) are responsible for the evaluation of database software any existing database software to meet the needs of their employer;
- DBAs are responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of databases and guarantee that data is stored securely and optimally. DBAs inform end users of changes in databases and train them to utilize systems;
- Through control access, DBAs ensure the security of company data. Their skills and technical expertise are desirable to many organizations, with the highest demand being in data-intensive organizations like insurance, finance, and content providers;
- Database administrator is responsible to help Data Modeler to optimize physical model to optimal fit to the particular Database.

Your Skills and Experience
III. Basic Qualifications
- A bachelor‘s degree in information technology or computer science, along with advanced education and certifications are required to work as a database administrator;
- Five (5) or more years of IT experience, including three (3) or more years of database administration and development.
IV. Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of the IBM Banking Data Warehouse Model preferred;
- Experience in banking or financial services preferred.
