We are seeking Technical Leads or Senior Engineers of Automation Testing on JAVA to join projects of our partner - GoodData company (www.gooddata.com). Core Responsibilities
As a Technical Lead (Tech Lead) / Senior Engineer of Automation Testing, you will take the lead and initiative in terms of proposing, designing and implementing improvements of automated testing framework, thus leading to overall quality assurance improvements on ongoing and sustainable basis.
- (Tech Lead) Drives and refines strategy for test automation at all levels (unit, integration, load, performance, etc.) as well as for Continuous Integration & Delivery.
- (Tech Lead) Understands deeply on automation test delivery (testcases, implementation, issues, integration and risks). Gains first-hand experience with the impact of the technical decisions by contributing to the implementation of committed testcases.
- (Tech Lead) Provides and communicates the technical direction to the whole team. Work with teams on all phases of technical work including planning, designing and overseeing the implementation of automated tests.
- (Tech Lead) Leads, mentors, supports and develops team members on all technical works (estimation, analysis / design, implementation and code reviews).
- Designs, implements and executes automated tests including functional, performance, load and longevity tests.
- Performs maintenance and operational tasks (reconfiguration, updating, monitoring) on test environments (integration, performance and pre-production clusters).
- Analyzes test results to be able to deduct the chain of events leading to a failure.
- Works with development teams to speed up testing and delivery, reproduce and resolve problems.
- Creates test documentation in support of manual exploratory testing and automated testing.
- Works under the leadership of a Technical Architect / Team Leader.

Your Skills and Experience
About you:
- (Tech Lead) A leader who can lead and motivate team to design, implement and execute automated tests including functional, performance, load and longevity tests.
- (Tech Lead) Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional communication skills, and wisdom gained from building and leading teams responsible for large scale projects.
- Able to prioritize tasks, work independently and multi-task effectively.
- Capable to own the decision making and develops innovative solutions in determining technical objectives of assignment.
- Understands how the work fits in to the larger project and identifies problems with requirements.
- Able to provide technical expertise, training, and consultation to other team members.
Required Qualifications:
- (Tech Lead) Significant experience technical leading teams of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering (5+ years experience technical leadership in quality engineering environment; 8+ years overall experience)
- 5+ years experience with automation testing using tools like Selenium, TestCafe.
- Strong development experience with Java and willing to learn other programming languages.
- Hand-on experience with Unit Testing in various frameworks like TestNG, JUnit.
- Hand-on experience with relational database design, transactional SQL and DBMS (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL or Vertica).
- Good knowledge of OOP & design patterns.
- Working proficiency in English. (TechLead) Communication: speak and understand English well.
Advantage Qualifications:
- Experienced with performance and load testing.
- Experience with REST API design, distributed systems, enterprise application, cloud based solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD Jenkins, Docker containers and GIT.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment.
