As an Automation Engineer with OnSolve you’ll be focused on creating tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to support build, testing, and deployments of our products. This role is heavily involved with our Continuous Integration (CI) and cloud-based deployment environments. If you’re someone who considers themselves detail oriented, a team player, adaptable, driven, and a continuous learner we would love to speak with you about joining our team!
Responsibilities
- Work with Dev Leads/ Architects to understand automation needs
- Build CI jobs by TeamCity and Jenkins and CD jobs by Octopus
- Manage, deploy and monitor devlopement, staging and production environment
- Work with software engineers to identify and resolve defects
- Use tools such as Jira for the logging of defects and apply appropriate prioritization
- Occasional meetings and production support requests that may occur outside of working hours

Yêu cầu công việc
Your Skills and Experience
- English speaking/ writing ability
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent knowledge
- Knowledge of best practices for automation, especially with tools such as TeamCity, Octopus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- At least 3 years of programming experience with at least one mainstream language such as Java, C#, JavaScript or PHP
- Experience automating processes via API integrations
- Exposure to cloud-based computing such as AWS, Azure, or GCM
- Knowledge of HTTP and web services (REST, SOAP)
- Experience working in an agile development environment
If you exceed these requirements, we are willing to offer a senior position.
