We are looking for a talented, experienced Java Developer.
You will be given various assignments, but mostly projects for Japanese corporate customers.
Those assignments are either front-end Android app or back end server-side Java programming using Springboot.
You will be given assignments and instructions from a Team Leader in same office or bridge SE in Japan office. You will work in a small group of 3 to 4 programmers, plus a more experienced programmer such as a team leader. Team leader will check your progress frequently.
Basically, we expect you to work independently and produce output on time. But if you have concerns you can talk to team leader and fellow programmers for advice. We intend to create nice welcoming environment for beginners.
As a chief programmer, your tasks include not only do coding within you task, but also help entry level programmers. If they need help, you will give advice to them and help them grow.

Your Skills and Experience
- Experience of Java server side programming, and able to code in Java from scratch.
- Experience of Java framework such as Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and AJAX.
- Experience of SQL database programming, such as MySQL.
- Familiarity with Open Source tools such as Git and Redmine.
- Familiarity of UML, able to communicate with BrSE and other team members by UML.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Ability to read/write documents in English.
- Candidate should have a good communication skill in order to work in a team.
- Candidate should be able to learn new technologies and skills quickly and apply to work.
- Candidate should be able to guide/teach fellow entry level programmers.
- Minimum work experience: 3+ years
- Experience of working in small groups of less than 10 developers.
- Ability to speak in English at business level.
- Familiarity of server technology, such as Linux and Cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity of AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Experience of Android app programming.
- Experience in application UI/UX.
