- Site Reliability Engineers, SREs run our services and are ultimately responsible for the health of these.
- Don't have to develop specific features as a backend/frontend engineer but have to work with backend/frontend engineer, and have to write code as a programmer.
- Example: move forward system up and up and no need do it manually, use CDN or recommend server-less ... so that you need to do programming.
Define of SREs from Wikipedia:
>“A site reliability engineer (SRE) will spend up to 50% of their time doing “ops” related work such as issues, on-call, and manual intervention. Since the software system that an SRE oversees is expected to be highly automatic and self-healing, the SRE should spend the other 50% of their time on development tasks such as new features, scaling or automation. The ideal SRE candidate is a highly skilled system administrator with knowledge of code and automation.”

Your Skills and Experience
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in the backend (For example, Ruby on Rails, Java, PHP, Node.js)
- 1+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, Cloud Engineering (AWS, GCP)
Must-Have
- Experience with the web framework. For example, Ruby on Rails, Laravel, Express.js
- Motivation to learn a new programming language
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
- A person who wants to become a playing manager in the future, or is interested in management
