You will join projects of our partner - GoodData Analytics Platform (www.gooddata.com). This cloud-based large-scale analytics solution involves upto 30TB of data daily analyzed by over 1 millions users with 4 data centers located in US/EU/CA. More than 50% of Fortune 500 companies across every industry use GoodData.
Core Responsibilities:
You will contribute to the overall component design and play a key role in implementing features.
- Develops and maintains the open-sourced GoodData Ruby SDK. Check it out on https://github.com/gooddata/gooddata-ruby.
- Develops and maintains the GoodData Automation Layer which controls the life cycle of thousands of projects.
- Communicates with GoodData Level 2 Support, helps them troubleshoot customer issues.

Your Skills and Experience
About you:
- Able to prioritize tasks, work independently and multi-task effectively.
- Capable to own the decision making and develops innovative solutions in determining technical objectives of assignment.
- Understands how the work fits in to the larger project and identifies problems with requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in software development: product specification, design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Strong development experience with Ruby programming language and willing to learn the others.
- Hand-on experience in relational database design, transactional SQL and DBMS (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL or Vertica).
Advantage Qualifications:
- Hands-on programming experience in Unix environment.
- Experience in REST API design, distributed systems, enterprise application, cloud based solutions.
- Experience with Ruby testing framework, CI/CD Jenkins, Docker containers and GIT.
