The Role:

Dropfoods has an opening for a Data Scientist Developer( Python and R) to join our team.

Our product produces lot of data, which gives us a huge opportunity to learn how to better serve our customers. We need to filter these data and do data analysis.

This is where you come in. We need your help to generate data-driven solutions to our business problems. We need someone who understands mathematical analysis and knows how to use technology to implement it. You’re someone who’s always itching to solve the problem. You’re never satisfied with a feathery answer. You want the facts. You always back up your position with data.

You’ll help us pull back the curtain, notice trends, and apply data to drive change in our business models so we can implement more solutions. If that sounds exciting to you, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large, unstructured data sets to discover data trends and information.
• Evaluate and analyze new data sets to model relevant financial metrics, and to generate insights/predictions that can be applied to plan business strategies
• Apply Statistical and machine learning techniques to large data sets for data quality control, feature engineering and bias correlation.
• Design schemas and applications to automate data mining and warehouse processes in a scalable way.
• Testing of strategies before putting into production
• Must be able to carry out duties that may include software development to create dashboards to showcase information, performing data analysis and data modeling, and reporting on various data points.
• Must be able to create a wide variety of graphics to display information, such as infographics, charts, graphs, data maps, or interactive data
• Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
