Your will play a significant role in developing new features for the online platform of the fast-growing Singapore-based startup that is looking to reinvent the way people use public transportation.
Responsibilities
- Develop all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the passenger and driver apps.
- Be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.

Your Skills and Experience
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and has experience with AngularJs framework
- Strong Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express, StrongLoop, etc
- Expert in working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
- Understanding of server-side templating languages such as Jade, EJS, etc
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and server-side CSS preprocessors such as Stylus, Less, etc
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
