We are looking for Java developers (both junior and senior) for our Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang offices.
If you are looking for a chance to work on exciting projects using cutting edge technologies in a professional and collaborative working environment, then you will love Formos. We are looking for full stack developers with experience in Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate and AngularJS to join our team!
You will be the backbone of the Formos global team responsible for the development of world-class software. You will work closely with local project teams including project managers, software architects, developers, and QAs.You will also communicate at times with our US-based senior leadership and project managers.
Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of best practices and have experience with key technologies that we use on our projects. Attention to detail and willingness to learn are critical characteristics for this role. Your Skills and Experience
- Experience with web application development
- Experience with Java Spring and related technologies in Spring such as Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring MVC, etc.,
- Experience with Java SE 5-8, JDK, SDK
- Experience or knowledge of AngularJS, ReactJS, or other JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with JSON and RESTful Web services
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA/iBatis (or another ORM framework)
- Experience with MySQL, or related SQL technologies
- Honest, reliable, organized and detail oriented
- For lead position
- Able to research issues and provide technical solutions
- Must be seen as a leader and mentor to junior developers
- Conduct code review for junior team members
- Strong time management skills
- Good English communication skills (focusing on Reading and Writing skills)
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS or one of CSS3/HTML5 frameworks Bootstrap/Foundation etc…
- Knowledge of and experience with OOP principles
- Development experience using Eclipse IDE
- Knowledge of Apache Solr or Elasticsearch
