WHAT YOU WILL DO

As QCL you will manage one or two projects, both dealing with manual test and test automation in terms of ensuring quality
Propose Test strategies for projects and conduct workshops with clients
Join QC department activities to lead and develop the team
Apply/adjust testing processes to ensuring quality in fully SDLC
Define Test Plan (Test strategy and Test logistics) and apply Testing methodologies, Techniques to design test cases and prepare test data
Collaborate among teams: clients, scrum teams and QC teams
Consider test automation approach and involve right people to apply it successfully in projects
Test monitoring and controlling, including managing test effort and bug leakage
Study project requirements, and communicate with the project team (Client, PO/BA, PM/SM, TL, etc.) to collaborate, understand the project requirements and project knowledge clearly and accurately
Apply testing on Web, Mobile apps and API/BE Testing
Perform (partially) all phases of testing including Smoke test, Integration test, System test, Regression test and support PO/Client team in terms of running UAT
Perform (partially) most of the Testing types including Functional test, Layout/UI test, Content check, and Non-functional test (Usability, Compatibility, Performance test, etc.)
Report bugs found and test results (partially)
Perform Test evaluation and make quality reports for each delivery (making decision GO/NO GO)
Consult and guide developers to do some testing before releasing to QC testing
Identify, raise and follow-up any quality & delivery risks
Weekly report to the QC Manager about problems/issues/risks of the project
Fully participate in the sprint planning, Grooming, Retrospective meeting, and compulsory training sessions
Confirm test artifacts when closing project
Provide technical support/coaching for less experienced members to increase the team’s productivity & develop QC career paths
Have the ability and willingness to travel and work on-site

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

Background in IT or Computer Science
English (At least level: Upper-Intermediate, strong communication)
7+ years of hands-on experience in Web/Mobile/API/BE testing & strong Web & Mobile testing
4+ years of hands-on experience in QC Leading
3+ years of hands-on experience in coaching/training
2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation activities (Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, also applied for using tools of test automation)
Good leading skills and able to manage well one or more QC teams in projects
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong Testing methodologies and techniques: Test levels, Static test (Reviews and Static analysis) and Dynamic test (Black-box Testing, Exploratory Testing, Error Guessing)
Strong in Designing Test Artifacts: Test plans (including test automation and performance test plans), Test case, Bug report, and Quality Report
Able to create testing proposals (Test strategies, estimation, automation test solutions, performance test solution, etc.)
Good knowledge and experience of the standard software engineering process, Testing methodologies, V/Agile working models
Good attitude and testing mindset: organized, detail-oriented, quality-oriented and automation-oriented, enthusiastic, responsible, and eager to learn and develop your career in the testing field
Good testing processes in the Agile model
Good reading and understanding Functional and Non-functional requirements, provide feedback and enrich requirements efficiently
Good training and coaching skills
Hands-on experience using/testing in Digital domains (CMS, E-Commerce, Banking, SNS, Insurance, etc.)
Strong Web, Mobile and API/BE Testing (related technologies: HTML, JS, CSS, Java, .Net, PHP, React, Angular, NodeJS, etc.)
Good understanding of some main technical documents (SAD, DB Schemas, API/Web service specification)
Hands-on experience in manipulating databases in SQL Server/MySQL/Oracle/Neo4J/MongoDB
Hands-on experience with a Test Management tool: Zephyr/TestRail/others.
Hands-on experience with some Testing tools more: Generate Test data, Layout test, GA tracking, JMeter, others
Knowledge of Performance tests
Basic knowledge of Security test

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

Hands-on experience with Micro-service Architecture, Big data knowledge
Hands-on experience working directly with overseas clients
Hands-on experience in Security tests
Hands-on experience in Performance tests
Hands-on experience at test automation studio/tools (keyword-driven, data-driven)
ISTQB CTFL certification is required (you can get it after onboarding with training and support from QC department of the company)
Hands-on experience in designing, implementing and executing in Test automation:
Programming: Java/.Net/JavaScript/Python
Selenium, Appium, TestNG/JUnit
Git, SVN
Gherkin, Cucumber-BDD
CI/CD tools: Jenkins/Bamboo
Cloud Device Services: BrowserStack/AWS Device Farm/pCloudy/others
