Systum is seeking a junior data engineer to work on implementing and maintaining a scalable data management system. The candidate will support data modeling, data mining, and data production across multiple business and technology groups. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and find innovative ways to improve data reliability and quality while collaborating with multiple stakeholders. Candidates should be proficient in Python, REST, and other data tools used to create repeatable processes so that data delivery is ensured to be timely and valuable.

Your Skills and Experience
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Python
- Docker and Graph Database experience a big plus
- Knowledge of data exchange formats: XML, JSON, CSV
- Working technical knowledge of current database software, protocols, and standards.
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices methodology.
- Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.
