This is a role for someone passionate about crafting an awesome interface within an innovative fast growth company that's obsessed with it's customers.
HOW WILL YOU CREATE IMPACT?
- You will be working on our core product with designers, product managers, back-end engineers, and other interface engineers. You will have significant ownership and influence on the future of the product’s interface.
- The role has a focus on the delivery of product features, building out front-end applications with JavaScript - both writing it and mentoring others to grow their skills.
- You will need to dive into the interface layer and collaborate with the back-end engineers to define APIs.

Your Skills and Experience
WHAT ARE YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Working with a modern Front-end JavaScript framework (e.g. React, AngularJS)
- Understanding your team’s product domain, and its customers
- Writing semantic HTML whilst utilising templating languages (e.g. JSX, Jade/Pug)
- Creating re-usable CSS using pre-processors (mostly SCSS)
- Working with NodeJS development tools (eg. Gulp, NPM, Makefiles)
- Writing the right Tests at the right levels (Jasmine, Jest, Selenium)
- Embedding UI libraries correctly (we use our own in-house library similar to Bootstrap / Foundation)
- Ensuring the creation of highly accessible code (W3C WCAG 2.0, ARIA)
- Working with task workflow & continuous integration tools (JIRA Agile, Confluence, Bamboo)
- Managing and maintaining code with Git (ideally Bitbucket)
