We are looking for a smart, motivated software developer to join our R&D team to develop several new software products for emerging market. Candidates with ability to learn and adapt quick, having excellent programming skills, driven to explore and develop new things, having desire to build great industrial software product that are feature rich yet simple, user friendly, and maintainable are best suit for the job.
The Java Developer will be responsible to develop new Products & add-on modules to IBM Maximo Asset Management system.
Design and develop Win / Web applications:
- Design and develop new Products & add-on modules to IBM Maximo Asset Management system.
- Collaborate with other passionate developers.
- Write software-based tests for the functionality you develop.
- Participate in code and design reviews.
Work directly with PM/TL and Customer to help determine and solve customer needs
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Win / Web applications, and other add-on modules integrating with IBM Maximo software product.
- Conduct testing to ensure the products are delivered with relatively few bugs/ issues and within deadlines.
- Fixing bugs and maintain existing products, projects.
- Resolve technical issues, research root-causes, give the best solutions.
- Write product overview, product guidelines.
- Perform demonstration of software products to internal management team and external client.
- Research & Develop new functions, applications, products on the new platform to meet the technology trend.
Travel to sites on project demand (domestically / internationally if applicable).

Your Skills and Experience
Soft skills:
- Self-motivated, fast learner.
- Strong communication skill
- Strong logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
- Self-study and research
Hard skills:
Must have:
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE.
- Strong experienced with Web Service (RESTFUL API, JSON)
- Good background in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), SQL Programing.
- Understand Unified Modeling Language (UML) and design.
- Understand Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
- Strong competency in working/parsing with XML, JSON.
- Strong HTML, CSS.
- Application development: application life cycle, basic UI elements & layout, basic animation technique, auto-layout.
- Minimum 1 year in experience.
Nice to have:
- Experienced in app performance tuning.
- Be able to analysis, design, develop, test and deploy win/web app from the ground up.
- Experienced in memory management.
- Source Control experience: SVN or Git.
- Experienced in multi-threading and asynchronous programming.
Language: Ability to communicate in English
Education: University degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Management Information System or equivalent.
