Your primary role as Technology Engineer is to plan and develop the technical components of digital solutions for clients.
- The Technology Engineer reports to the Lead Technology Engineer or any other senior staff as assigned by the Managing Director. The Lead Technology Engineer will oversee your job performance and professional development.
- You are responsible for planning, programming, testing, and deploying technical solutions pertaining to content management systems, databases, web applications, online processes and transactions, digital marketing and web development. You are expected to be familiar with the latest technologies and methodologies pertaining to these items.
- You may be called upon to provide inputs and solutions on technical design, system architecture, web infrastructure, and operational issues. You may be required to assist in new business development by contributing to research, strategy and tactics.
- You may need to provide technical user training to customers.
- You may be required to interface with clients for technical requirements gathering, project scoping, and conducting development checkpoints.

Your Skills and Experience
- You need to be well-versed in software development methodologies and programming best practices. This includes standards-based coding.
- Minimum of 5 years development experience.
- Minimum of 2 years core Java development experience.
- Minimum of 2 years working with AEM 6.3 with significant experience of enterprise development on this platform.
- Must have experience in component based development in Java using OSGi / Felix.
- Must have experience with Eclipse, Maven, CRXDE Lite.
- Must have experience in design and development of templates, components and workflows in AEM 6.3.
- Must have advanced knowledge in JSP / HTML Template Language (HTL aka. Sightly).
- Must have experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON and XML.
- Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Preferably experience with RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
- Preferably experience with other Content Management System (CMS).
