- Contributing to the realization/customization of our software product to meet customer needs in the area of automated warehouse and distribution solutions.
- Creating design and implementation of customer specific extensions and modifications for Software affecting back office processes, SQL database access, ERP system interaction, automation subsystem interaction and operator user interfaces.
- Writing Junit and Integration Test, System Test, Automation Test to ensure quality.
- Documentation of the solution and creation of user manuals.
- Participation in the integration of our software with our hardware subsystems and the customer‘s systems at the customer side (worldwide).
- Close collaboration with our customers, our software teams in Germany and Switzerland and other departments during the projects.
Typical Working Day at Swisslog
- Starting your day at around 09:00AM in the office, have a morning coffee, do some “chit chat” with your colleagues, then get ready for a busy but productive day with assignments.
- The lunch break is from 12:00PM-13:00PM and is a good time for you to enjoy your self-prepared meals inside the office or eat out with others.
- After lunch, make conference calls with your PM and peers from Switzerland and Germany for statuses and new assignments (a great chance to communicate in English, every day), then move on with your work.
- Time flies and it’s already 06:00PM. You can stay a little more to finish your work or say goodbye to everyone and start your evening life.
- You need more energy during the day? It’s fine, we have free snacks so help yourselves any time.
- You need help? Don’t worry, project mentors and training plans (both technical and English) are always there for you. And everything is very clearly documented for your reference.
- You are new to project team? No problem, they will invite you to come to Switzerland or Germany to see you in person and to know you better.

Your Skills and Experience
- 01 year or more of experience in Java/Java EE, Junit and Mockito
- Can understand requirements, can write emails/update status… in English, can speak English (preferred)
- Good understanding of OOP, OOD, Design Patterns, Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server is a plus
- Passionate about coding and code quality, team spirit and right working attitude
