- Work with IT and business stakeholders to understand business needs, validate the requirements, and transform them into analytics applications
- Evaluate and select sound technical applications design alternatives to meet business requirements
- Work closely with the team to provide input on appropriate solutions that are consistent with current reporting standards and processes
- Integrate reporting components from multiple data sources
- Working with analysts, develop comprehensive test case plans. Ensure thorough unit testing and QA transition.
- Document solution and execute knowledge transfer for application, per Dorman project delivery process.
- provide support for developed solutions while in warranty period

Your Skills and Experience
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree (or equivalent work experience)
- 3++ years of experience with business intelligence tools preferred
- Solid understanding of the concepts and practices of data model design including multidimensional and relational reporting and analysis techniques
- Experience in optimizing dashboards with focus on usability, performance, flexibility and standardization
- Experience in end-to-end implementation of BI projects for developing a portfolio of scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards
- Experience in writing and debugging SQL queries
Nice to have:
- Experience working directly with Qlik Sense
- Strong web development skills (javascript / html / css) on the Qlik platform
- Experience developing using Qlik APIs is also a plus
- Qlik View or Qlik Sense developer certification a plus
