As an Engineering Manager, you cover 4 main challenges:

  • Manage Deliveries:
  • Driven by metrics & audit of your teams, you are accountable for their delivery performance.
  • You can provide & implement successful action plans to answer stakeholders request regarding delivery improvements. 
  • These actions plans can contain a wide range of actions, such as (but not limited to): training, initiating coaching/shadowing/pair programming/…, recruiting people, organizing workshops, etc…
  • Contribute to our organization evolution:
  • With your peers you prioritize all impediments related to the organization. You define & implement together changes to solve them.
  • Manage Engineers:
  • Each individual deserve attention and a personal career management. Therefore, you drive their career, engage them by combining their motivations with our opportunities. 
  • You lead them by putting the organization at their service (training, other engineer coaching, etc…). You are also in charge of the whole assessment in line with our HR framework.
  • Value, Identity & culture ambassador:
  • You are an example for our values, you know how to praise and put the spotlights on good practices & great initiatives. 
  • On the other hand, you can prevent the spread of practices going against our mindset, values and ambitions.
  •  You will directly work with the Delivery Teams but also with your hub colleagues such as the HR Business Partner, Agile Coach, Training Manager, Engineering Director…
  • Your clients are the Product Management, Software Architecture & IT Governance teams. They expect Delivery Teams to run smoothly, to be value driven and to improve their productivity over the time.

Yêu cầu công việc

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
  • Ideally you will have at least 8 years of experience in Software Development, strong technical background including Web Development
  • Proven experience in Management/Leadership for the Software industry
  • Previous experience in ERP and/or Software Architecture is a plus
  • Business proficient level of English in order to attend meetings with other development teams in Europe, provide support to applications, help project managers and architects take the best decision, document your work.
