What you will do
- Propose solution as well as estimation on the high-level technical designs for product milestones.
- Work with developers on analyzing the big and hard problems/ topics. Be the leader in troubleshooting, issue investigation and guide with teams.
- Cooperate closely with Europe engineers and product managers, product owners. Join the international technical and solution architect community of GoodData.
- Be a main factor in creating a professional, international and open-minded work culture.
- Cooperate with manager to source, hire and onboard talented and passionate engineers.

You should have:
Skills:
- Analytical, problem solving ability are your strengths.
- Experience working on multitasking and prioritizing.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Know how to negotiate, make decisions, explanation and presentation.
- Strong leadership, know how to motivate team members.
- Love guiding and mentoring engineers along their career path - whether they are a seasoned veteran or a recent college graduate.
- Open-minded, agile and persistent in dealing with difficulties.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in software development: product specification, design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Working proficiency in English. Communication: speak and understand English well.
- Strong development experience with Java/C and willing to learn other programming languages (Perl, Kotlin, Ruby,...)
- Hands-on experience in relational database design, transactional SQL and DBMS (PostgreSQL, Vertica, MySQL, Oracle or MSSQL).
Advantage Qualifications:
- Hands-on programming experience with one of the following: Spring framework, JavaScript, Kotlin, Ruby, Perl, C shell scripting.
- Experience in REST API design, distributed systems, enterprise application, cloud based solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD Jenkins, Docker containers, Splunk and GIT.
