What you will do
- Cooperate and communicate professionally with product owner of the core backend components of GoodData system.
- Support team to release new features, troubleshoot, fix issues while the system is still running stably in good security, scalability and performance.
- Lead, manage and support engineering teams responsible for finding solutions, analysing, designing, implementation, testing and integration of components in Gooddata platform.
- Play a leadership role in mentoring and developing team members’ career paths.
- Be the main role in building team, a hiring manager by working with supporters to source, hire and onboard talented and passionate engineers.

Your Skills and Experience
Skills:
- Analytical, problem solving ability are your strengths.

- Open-minded, agile and persistent in dealing with difficulties.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in software development: product specification, design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Strong development experience with Java/C and willing to learn other programming languages (Perl, Kotlin, Ruby,...)
- Hands-on experience in relational database design, transactional SQL and DBMS (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Vertica, MySQL, Oracle or MSSQL).
Advantage Qualifications:
- Hands-on programming experience with one of the following: Spring framework, JavaScript, Kotlin, Ruby, Perl, C shell scripting.
- Experience in REST API design, distributed systems, enterprise application, cloud based solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD Jenkins, Docker containers, Splunk and GIT.
